2024 So Far

This has been a kind of unreal year, in a lot of ways (both good and bad).

Life here on Kauai continues to be fantastic in so many ways, and actually keeps getting better and richer and more fulfilling as time passes. Our relationship with the hui here keeps getting stronger. Our hale is becoming more and more our home with every month. We keep deepening all our relationships, including with the land and the people. This doesn't mean everything is perfect. Life is never perfect. We've each struggled with some injuries and health issues - but have recovered and moved past them. Our jobs, while fulfilling and challenging and great, are high-pressure and stressful (at the best of times). And life's general tragedies and traumas apply even here. But when taken in whole, our lives are freaking incredible and there is rarely a day that goes by where I'm not both shocked that this is my life and just simply extraordinarily grateful.

Here are some highlight photos from the year to date. As always, click on the thumbnail to get the full sized image.
